There are a number of things a pharmacist must be aware of in the profession of dispensing prescription drugs and to be a pharmacist one must obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy degree which is a four year program. Whether a pharmacist works at a brick and mortar store dispensing prescriptions or in an online capacity through a Canada pharmacy, the health professional must be aware of a large number of potential side effects, contradictory medicines and the proper methods for use of those drugs. There is a large amount of information required of pharmacists and many continue to learn even after school has ended.
